Lydia is a native of Melbourne, Australia. She is a successful Theatre actress and is currently part of the production of “Cats” at Her Majesty’s Theatre in her hometown. However, she hasn’t always been this sure about the acting profession.  Lydia was born into an actor’s home. That is, both her parents were aspiring actors and as a result Lydia had a couple of appearances as a child actor. She was dissuaded from following her parents into the profession after seeing the financial troubles her parents had to go through as actors.  She was training to be a primary schoolteacher when suddenly this fire rose inside her. She decided to pursue this feeling she had in the pit of her stomach and sure enough – Success!
